Ideally, wash the vehicle in a shaded area or during the cooler morning or evening hours. Direct sunlight and hot paint surfaces should be avoided, as water, shampoo, and cleaning products can dry too quickly. This prevents dirt particles from being dragged across the paintwork during washing and causing scratches. Stubborn contamination such as insect residues should first be treated with a suitable bug remover. Afterwards, all loosened residues are thoroughly rinsed away using a pressure washer. This involves using a wash bucket and a rinse bucket, both equipped with dirt-trap inserts. These so-called Grit Guards ensure that dirt particles released from the wash mitt sink to the bottom of the bucket during rinsing and are not stirred up again. This prevents those particles from re-entering the wash mitt and being dragged across the paintwork. The Grit Guard is therefore an important component of a particularly paint-safe vehicle wash. The car shampoo creates a protective lubricating layer between the paintwork and the wash mitt, supporting exceptionally gentle cleaning. Instead of a conventional sponge, we use a chenille wash mitt. Its soft fibers gently loosen contamination and safely trap any remaining dirt particles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-x-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Important:<\/strong> After each section, the wash mitt should first be rinsed in the rinse bucket before being reloaded with shampoo. This keeps the wash water clean and minimizes the risk of paint defects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-x-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">For optimal results, work without applying pressure and use straight-line motions. Circular movements should be avoided. If a particle is dragged across the paintwork, any resulting marks will be far less noticeable when they follow straight lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-x-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Important:<\/strong> Always clean heavily soiled areas such as side skirts, bumpers, and the rear section of the vehicle last.
